Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AdSnap. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, specifically regarding the creation and management of listings.

Service Provider

AdSnap (adsnap.lv) is operated by SIA "Lumina Ecommerce", registration number 40203469350, legal address Firsa Sadovņikova iela 21-20, Rīga, LV-1003, Latvia. You can contact SIA "Lumina Ecommerce" by e-mail at info@adsnap.eu.

Contract and Termination

By registering on AdSnap, you conclude a contract with SIA "Lumina Ecommerce" for the use of AdSnap for an indefinite period. Creating an AdSnap account, publishing listings and communicating with other users are free of charge. You can end the contract at any time free of charge by deleting your AdSnap account on its "Personal Data" page. Before you delete your AdSnap account, you can get a copy of your data on the same page with the "Download" button, including your listings and your conversations with other users.

Listing Creation

By creating a listing on AdSnap, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Upload only images that you own or have permission to use
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Respect intellectual property rights

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of all information in your listings
  • Honoring any agreements made through the platform
  • Keeping your password and other sign-in details secure

You agree to respond to other users' questions about your listings in a timely manner.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal items or services
  • Fraudulent or misleading information
  • Adult or sexual content
  • Spam or duplicate listings
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content

Prohibited Financial Services Listings

It is prohibited to publish listings on AdSnap that offer, advertise, promote, or intermediate regulated financial services, including but not limited to:

  • loans, credit, microloans, consumer credit, mortgage loans, or financing secured by collateral;
  • refinancing, debt consolidation, debt settlement, debt repayment solutions, or similar debt-related services;
  • loans or financing secured by real estate, vehicles, company shares, securities, or any other asset;
  • investment, profit, passive income, trading, or crypto-asset offers where such offers may be considered regulated financial services or misleading financial offers;
  • payment services, money transfers, currency exchange, financial intermediation, or similar services where a licence, registration, or other authorisation is required;
  • listings using claims such as "no credit history check", "no documents required", "loans for everyone", "guaranteed approval", "regardless of financial situation", "fast money", "risk-free", or similar claims.

These listings are prohibited regardless of whether they are published by an individual, a legal entity, an intermediary, an agent, or a person claiming to only help connect users with a financing provider.

AdSnap may reject or remove a listing that breaks the rules in this section, as well as a listing that is reasonably suspected of offering an unlicensed or misleading financial service. A moderator makes this decision, and AdSnap sends you an e-mail with the reasons, as described in "Content Moderation".

Exceptions are allowed only with AdSnap's prior written approval, provided that the listing publisher submits documents showing that they hold all required licences, registrations, authorisations, and legal rights to advertise the relevant service in the relevant manner. AdSnap reviews the documents submitted and may refuse approval if they do not show this or if the listing breaks another section of these terms.

Chat Messages

The rules in "Prohibited Content" also apply to chat messages. In chat it is also prohibited to:

  • send the same or nearly the same message to many users (spam);
  • send other users offensive, threatening or harassing messages, or otherwise offend their honour and dignity.

Our system automatically checks whether the same message is being sent many times. AdSnap does not deliver a flagged message to the recipient until a moderator has reviewed it. A moderator can delete messages that break these terms.

Content Moderation

AdSnap checks listings and chat messages so that content that breaks these terms does not reach other users.

  • When you create or edit a listing, our system automatically checks its title and description against lists of prohibited keywords and with an automated moderation model. If the system flags the listing or cannot check it, AdSnap publishes the listing only after a moderator has reviewed it, within 24 hours.
  • Our system also automatically checks whether the same message is being sent in chat many times (see "Chat Messages").
  • A moderator decides whether to reject or remove a listing, delete chat messages, or suspend or close an AdSnap account. Our system does not reject or delete anything on its own.
  • When AdSnap rejects your listing or restricts your content or your AdSnap account, we send you an e-mail that states what was decided and how long it applies, why, which section of these terms it is based on and whether automated means were used. The reasons are also shown on the page of a rejected listing.

Account Suspension and Closure

Limitation of Liability

AdSnap is a platform where users publish listings and communicate with each other. AdSnap is not a party to transactions between users and is not responsible for the information users provide in listings and chat messages or for transactions users conclude with each other. Listings that AdSnap collects from ss.lv are the responsibility of the people who published them on ss.lv. This section does not limit AdSnap's liability under the law, including liability for AdSnap's own acts or omissions.

Changes to the AdSnap Service

AdSnap may change the features of the AdSnap service to improve it, keep it secure or comply with the law. You do not pay for such changes. If a change significantly reduces your ability to use AdSnap, AdSnap sends an e-mail about it in good time to users whose AdSnap account e-mail address is confirmed, stating what will change and when. In that case you can end the contract free of charge by deleting your AdSnap account within 30 days of receiving the e-mail or of the change, whichever is later.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

AdSnap may change these Terms and Conditions if the law, the AdSnap service or the way AdSnap moderates content changes. AdSnap sends an e-mail about the changes to users whose AdSnap account e-mail address is confirmed, and this page shows the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect on the date given in the e-mail and on this page. If you do not agree with the changes, you can delete your AdSnap account at any time free of charge. If you keep using AdSnap after the changes take effect, the changed Terms and Conditions apply to you.

Complaints and Disputes

You can make a complaint about the AdSnap service by writing to info@adsnap.eu. AdSnap replies within 15 working days of receiving the complaint. If you are a consumer and you are not satisfied with AdSnap's reply, you can turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv), including to have your dispute considered by the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission (www.ptac.gov.lv/lv/par-pateretaju-stridu-risinasanas-komisiju), which is on the list of dispute resolution bodies published by the Consumer Rights Protection Centre.
