We just added something new to AdSnap: a place to check what people are asking for a given car, built from listings that are live right now rather than from a valuation formula. Search a make and model in the car price section, and you'll see the typical price, the range most of them sit in, and how all of that shifts with the year, the mileage and the fuel type.
Where a model has enough adverts around, the page also picks out a few of the cheapest ones going at that moment. Worth knowing how that gets worked out before you trust it: a car counts as cheap by comparison with the typical price of cars of a similar year, and mileage isn't part of the sum at all. Which means something with 300,000 km on it can end up looking like a steal when it isn't one.
It's the kind of feature that only gets better once real people start poking at it. So does it help - before you list a car, or before you make an offer on one? The poll below is open until August 31, 2026. And if yes or no doesn't cover it, use the comment box.
Positive or negative, both are useful. Optional.
